This is a gorgeous Victorian Shell Cameo pin w/pendant loop.

The pin measures 1 ¾” in diameter and is very light.

The clasp is a simple hook type. The metal frame is unmarked; it is either low karat gold or a gold fill. The cameo is held in the mounting with a claw-set. The solid frame is framed with a twisted wire frame.

The Cameo is wonderfully transparent; the carving is deeply defined and detailed.

This Cameo is delicate and elegant!
