This beautiful, old, sterling, individual open salt is marked with a Hallmark owned by; Webster Company of North Attleboro, Mass.

This company was in business from 1869-1949. The company was purchased by Reed & Barton on Jan. 1, 1950.

This salt is a 1 ¾” diameter opening, a 1 ¼” diameter base and is ¾” high. The band around the top looks like a series of fans (five lines fanning out from a single base point) The salt is in wonderful condition.

Those who have shopped with me before know I don’t clean metals. There are some who want things shinny and those who like the old patina and only use a polishing cloth. I will leave that to your discretion.
