This is one of the well-known SCHEIBE ALSBACH figurines of Napoleon's marshalls. It represents Remi Joseph Isidore Exelmans. It stands 9-1/4" high and measures about 3-3/4" from elbow to elbow, and as is usual with this series, the figurine bears the name of the man represented on the front of the pedestal and has his life dates on the rear. Each of these also has a brief biography incised into the underside of the base, in French. He was not made Marshall until 1851, during the Second Empire, and was thus one of Napoleon's younger general officers. The base has the SCHEIBE china mark, "Germany" and the incised number, 12753. No chips or cracks or crazing of any kind.
