** 40% OFF!! ** Vintage 1940's Polka Dot Mammy String Holder ~ An Exceptional Piece made from Ceramic, not Chalk ~ There is a Hold in the Mouth for String and Two Holes in the top of the Head for the Hanging Loop. Handpainted and in Original Condition with No restoration!

She measures 5 1/2" wide x 6 1/4" high x 3 3/4" deep and is in Excellent Condition ~ No chips, cracks or flea bites. There is one very small, shallow hairline in the surface beside one of the hanging holes. This is from production and does not compromise the piece, it is on the surface and the ceramic is 1/4" thick and very secure, guaranteed. There are a few minute flakes on the end of her nose and a few under her chin near the back rim, which could easily be touched up if desired. There is some minor age related surface buildup on the top of her head, which is left to the buyer to clean. There is no maker's mark, it is stamped "F8" inside.
