1950's Tole Painted Metal Tissue Box

Great decorative accent for you bathroom or bedroom....a wonderful 1950’s metal hand painted toleware tissue box.

This metal box is painted red and features flowers and leaves on the top and sides and a reticulated openwork design on the other side of the top. The short ends have painted leaves.

At one time this would have had a back panel that slid in and allowed you to mount the tissue box. That has been lost to time - but if you are going to use this on a dresser or night stand you really don't need the back piece.

This wonderful decorative accent is in very good condition. There are some minor rubs on the paint that appear at the edges and corners. There is no rust. Overall, a a wonderful piece.

Tole tissue box measures 10 1/2 inches long; 5 1/4 inches wide, and 2 1/2 inches deep.
