Okay - I think these old cast iron long handled scissors are meant to cut or trim in the garden. They do work - they cut paper, grass, and weeds.

I don't know if you'd actually want to use them in the garden or around the house but I think they would look great as part of a vintage tool or garden collection. They would also look great hanging on a wall as a piece of interesting artwork.

Scissors measure 14 inches long. The blades are approximately 3 1/2 inches long. They are quite heavy - weighing 10 lbs.
