The cover art was done by James W. Williamson, a Yale educated artist. The cover features "a weekending collegian violating the sacrosanct quiet of amythical university club. Williamson admits to having taken a few artistic liberties with the coat of arms around the fireplace. Clockwise from lower left: Grinnell, Stanford, Brown, Harvard, Pennsylvania, Navy, Tulane, Cornell, Michigan, and Columbia."
Great color advertisements from Chevrolet including the Corvette and the Corvair, Philco, Schlitz, Chrysler, Pepsi-Cola, FORD, Bell Telephone, and Miller High Life. Also a cool ad on the back for Lucky Strike cigarettes. There is also a full page ad for GE Lightbulbs that features a cartoon of Mr. Magoo.
Magazine is in good vintage condition. There are dog ears at the corners and a small tear at the lower left. There are some pen squiggles on the front cover as well as some little tears/wrinkles along the right side of the cover and some wrinkles on both front and back covers. There appear to be no missing pages although page 57 has had something cut out at the bottom right. On the front cover the mailing label remains. Inside pages are clean and free from marks and tears.
Magazine measures 13.5 inches high and 10.5 inches wide and contains 90 pages.
