Framed Souvenir Lithograph - The Cottages

This framed lithograph is lucky to have it's original paperwork attached to the paper that covers the back of the frame.

This lithograph is "THE COTTAGES" by Vincent Van Gogh. The paper reads "Lithographed in full color fromthe original as a souvenir of the 1959 holiday season for the friends of Einson-Freeman Co., Inc., Display Lithographers, Long Island City, New York". The frame is wood (there is no glass) which is made of distressed wood and the rustic nature of the frame really sets of the simple beauty of the lithograph. There is no glass covering.

There are a few dings and dents on the frame and Iaw 2 spots on the print that seem to have the painted rubbed off. Other than that - it really looks good considering it is 45 years old.

Framed lithograph measures 28 1/2 inches long (side to side), 23 3/4 inches high (top to bottom), and 1 1/4 inches deep (front to back).
