There are 3 prints each depicting a different scene. Each frame is wood - with a gold painted interior border. Two of the frames are very similar in color - the third has one side in which the wood is a bit darker. There is no glass covering the prints.
The prints are as follows:
#1 - 2 little boys walking one has a basket. This one is signed Hummel at the bottom right.
#2 - This has a little boy all dressed in shorts. He is carrying a rifle and is looking at a grasshopper on a blade of grass.
#3 - This is a little girl with a big bow in her hair. She is holding some flowers behind her back and is looking at a bumble bee on another flower.
Each frame is covered on the back with brown paper and has an original price sticker that says "The EDW MALLEY B2 29 1.98". Edwin Malley was the name of a department store in New Haven, Connecticut that was torn down years ago. Each has a decorative dark (not shiny) brass colored metal hanger at the top.
Only one of the prints is marked Hummel.
Frames measure 6 5/8 inches by 4 6/8 inches by 5/8 inches. They are in very good vintage condition with really no signs of wear. Two of the metals hangers appear to have white paint on the back - perhaps from the wall on which they were hung. These will make a wonderful addition to your collection or to a spot in your home that just needs a little something.
