What a cute couple - wouldn't you just love to put these under the tree this year and surprise someone who loves Raggedy Ann and Andy..........

I believe this set is from Knickerbocker. Andy's outift has a Knickerbocker tag. Andy himself has no tag - he has the I Love You heart on his chest and striped legs. He is wearing a one piece blue and red checked outfit with a Knickerbocker tag. Yarn hair is in good condition with a few errant strands.

Ann looks quite similar to Andy although she has more hair both around her face and in the back. She also has the heart and the striped legs. I believe that her dress is not original - it closes at the top with velcro. Her apron ties in the back. Her pantaloons appear to be original. Both have the print triangular nose and black button eyes.

Andy is in slightly better condition than Ann. His face has some dirt over his right eye and what looks like extra glue along the right side of his face where his hair was glued into place. He has an area of white discoloration on his left black shoe (on the back). Other than that he looks good with no holes.

Ann has a much dirtier face (you'd think it would be the boy that was dirtier!?!). Her hair is in good condition. She has some light staining and some small holes on her striped left leg. Her right black shoe has lost some stitches were it attaches to the leg. She has no tags but her face and body appear to be extremely similar to Andy's.
