This platter is in the Papoco line by Paden City Pottery. It is a creamy off-white color (sort of looks like vanilla ice cream) and has a raised design along it's large scalloped border. It had gold detailing around the rim at one time but about 99% of it is gone. One of the pictures shows what looks like dots along the outer edge - that is actually a few dots of gold that still remain. However - it still looks lovely without the gold detailing - the decorative edge is very pretty in and of itself.
Platter is in wonderful condition considering it's age. From the mark - I believe it is from 1933. There is some very fine crazing in spots - other than that - there are no chips, no cracks, or other damage. The back is marked PAPOCO C 33. The back has a brownish mark and also a darker yellow that appears along the bottom footing. Both of these imperfections appear to be under the glaze and I included a picture of both.
Platter measures 11 3/4 inches long, 9 1/2 inches wide, and 1 1/4 inches high from the table.
