This set features an urn-like shape, ornate handles, and ribbed line detailing at top and bottom. To top it off, it has an engraved flower with leaves. The flower looks somewhat like a lily (it also made me think of wheat – both it’s shape and the sort of ridged details to the petals).

Both pieces measure 3 inches tall and 3 ½ inches in diameter at the bottom. The sugar measures approximately 5 inches from handle to handle. The creamer measures approximately 4 ¾ inches from spout to handle.

Bottoms of both pieces are marked W. ?. CO. WARRANTED SILVERPLATE #31 (I can’t tell what the second initial is – possibly an S). Both pieces have quite a bit of tarnish. However they have no dents on the sides and only very minor scratches. There is a very small dent on the top edge of the creamer and a small scratch right above the ribbed lines at the bottom of the sugar. Other than that – wonderful as is – or shine them up if you prefer.
