Here is a great vintage instruction manual from the Providence Bulletin - Household Arts Department. It was mailed from New York, New York with 1 cent postage. It indicates that it is from Alice Brooks Designs. There is no copyright - it's age is prior to zip codes as it was mailed without a zip code. My guess is that it is from the 1940's based on the illustrations. PAttern is No. 7177 Slip Covers.
