Vintage 1940s Sterling Silver Screwback Earrings with Turquoise Glass Settings

Here is a lovely pair of earrings from a consignor whose mother had these in the 1940s.

They are sterling silver (see photo) base with a cabochon of turquoise set in the middle; the cab feels cool like glass, not amorphous like the stone, and close-up, it does look faux. The settings are tiny circles around the center, lending the look of flowers.

These measure 5/8" across.

Great collectibles in fabulous, very wearable condition.
