Vintage Short White Gloves with Tiny Mother of Pearl Button Trim

This pretty pair of vintage gloves have six tiny (1/4" across) buttons of glimmery mother of pearl on the back of each hand surrounding an open cleft at the wrist!

These measure 7.5" from the tip of the center finger to the hem and are 3.25" across the back of the hand.

These appear to be hand stitched, which is particularly visible on the center back seam; and there are separate fourchettes between the fingers for a nice, smooth fit.

These have been worn, and are not perfectly white, we did find some hazy and very light pink-ish purple looks like "bleed-through" on the UNDERside of each of the four fingertips of the left hand as well as on the index and middle finger of the right hand. These are VERY wearable none the less, or we wouldn't list them at all. They do have the feel of super soft cotton; there are no labels or tags on them.

Gloves add a classic touch to weddings, confirmations, and many other special occasions; and can be pretty piled in a basket with other gloves or lovely handkerchiefs!
