Beautiful portrait of Anne d'Autriche (Anne of Austria, 1601–66, Queen of France) after the painting by F. Pourbus. Frans Pourbous (known as the Younger) was a Flemish painter (b. 1569, Antwerpen, d. 1622, Paris). He is listed in Benezit. The text on the engraving reads as follows: F. Pourbus pinx., Louis Lucas sc., Anne D'Autriche (Collection de Mr. Gustave Rothan) L'Art, Imp. A. Salmon. Louis Lucas was a 19th Century engraver. Mounted on board with imperfections that can be mostly concealed by a mat when framing. Please ask questions, request additional photos and shipping costs before buying.
