Japanese porcelain plate circa mid-18th century marked with a copy of the Chinese Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi mark. It is decorated with lotus flower shapes in different shades of blue, white, red and gold. Delicate design and unusual details including a red "xoxoxo" border painted on base rim. The porcelain is translucent when held against the light. In very good condition with wear to gold and minor glace chips on border, possibly made by hanging wire.
