Extraordinary silver plated figural teapot profusely decorated with repousse and chasing techniques. It has a serpent-shaped spout raising from man's face at the base and the lid is topped by a bird. Hallmarked on the underside with silversmith's initials R&H. In very good condition with minor wear to plate and small loss to top ivory heat isolator as shown. Measurements: 11" tall by 10" at widest point.
