Beautiful all-white biscuit parian figurine of two children playing chess. It is marked on the underside with a blue arrow mark. Biscuit is unglazed porcelain with a matt appearance mostly used for making small sculptures. Biscuit porcelain is sometimes referred to as bisque or parian. In very good condition with minor imperfections as shown.
Measurements. Oval base is 6.75" long by 4.75" wide (17 cm by 12 cm). Figure is 5.5" tall (14 cm) approximately.
