Tin-glazed earthenware tile panel with blue decoration after the painting "An elegant group" by Anthonie Palamedesz (1601-1673). It is made out of twelve blue and white hand-painted tin-glazed ceramic tiles and depicts a 17th Century interior with three couples and two children. Mounted in a classic, sturdy black frame. In good condition with crackle and imperfections consistent with age as shown.
Measurements: Each tile is 5" square. Frame measures 25.4" by 20.4" by 2" (64.5 cm by 51.7 cm by 5 cm) approximately. Weight: 17 lbs. (7.7 Kgs.) approximately.
