Beautiful early 20th Century hexagonal cloisonne enamel vase. The upper half is decorated with a bird on a plum blossom tree over a turquoise background and the bottom has reserves decorated with dragons and mythological ho birds. It has a green enamel finish inside the rim and on the underside; a thin reddish brown border around the rim and base; and alternate shield-shaped reserves with goldstone enamel (because of the added shiny copper filings), all characteristics of Japanese cloisonne. In very good used condition with minor signs of wear as shown. Please ask questions, request additional photos and shipping costs before buying.
