Beautiful white biscuit statuette of a boy playing a flute leaning on a tree trunk. It is marked on the underside with the Thuringia, Germany porcelain manufacturer mark of Scheibe-Alsbach (letter "S" over two crossed lines). It is numbered on the base 10136. Biscuit is unglazed porcelain with a matt appearance mostly used for making small sculptures. Biscuit porcelain is sometimes referred to as bisque or parian. In very good condition as shown. Measurements: 6" Tall by 2.5" Wide approximately.

It is marked on the underside with an under-the-glaze, cobalt blue crowned initials mark similar to that of Augustus Rex used by Dresden factories. In very good condition with minor imperfections as shown. Measurements: 5" tall (12 cm): base diameter is 2.8" (7.4 cm) approximately.

Large porcelain figure statuette of a lion on a rock by Lauritz Jensen (1859-1935), a sculptor known for his animal figurines who worked for Bing & Grondahl, Dahl Jensen and Royal Copenhagen. It is marked on the underside with the Bing & Grondahl mark used in the 1914-1915 period with the text B&G Kjøbenhavn, Copenhagen in green and larger initials B&G in blue. In very good used condition with restoration. Measurements: 12" long by 8" tall by 4" deep approximately (30 cm by 20 cm by 10 cm).

Very old and fine white porcelain group of a courting couple with a hunting dog and game on a gilded bronze base. Unusual composition for the time where the lady is in the dominant position, holding the firearm while the gentleman looks up at her. The hunting dog guards the caught game, which includes a rabbit, while scratching with his hind leg. It is unmarked as older pieces often were. In very good condition with imperfections from the time of manufacture as shown and minor restoration. ...

The Nymphenburg porcelain factory was founded at Neudeck-ob-der-Au, Germany, in 1753 and moved to Nymphenburg in 1761. Measurements: 7" tall (18 cm) approximately.
