Vintage Siam Thai Buddha brass and laminate handle flatware set with case.

Here is a 14 piece brass and laminated handle flatware set with original Cheney England carrying case. It was made in Siam now Thailand as marked on jelly spoon. See photo. There are the following utensils included: 6 small forks 5-3/4 inches long with three prongs ¾ inches wide. 6 small spoons 4-3/4 inches long x ¾ x 1-3/8 inch spoon bowl head. 1 jelly or sugar spoon 5-1/4 inches long x 1-5/8 x 1-3/8 inch spoon bowl head. 1 larger serving piece 10-1/2 inches long x 2 x 4-1/4 inch tapered head. 1 Chaney England carrying case box, 12-1/2 x 8-1/4 x 2-1/2 inches Each piece has a black laminate grip fastened to the brass handle and is decorated with a typical Thai Buddha with the legend "Thailand" underneath. I believe the set is over 50 years old, since Siam became Thailand around 1949. All pieces are in excellent shape, and the Cheney England carrying case is also in great condition, everything has been stored in the same box that it was purchased in. I don't know how or where my parent got this fine item but I don't think I'll ever use it. Maybe you should own this rare find! It would really add atmosphere and something to talk about at your party with your friends or family!
