Our Service Pledge To You:
All items described as accurately and completely as possible. We err on the side of being too cautious, if anything! If we have missed a substantive flaw or otherwise unintentionally misrepresented an item, there will be no restocking fee for returns. All other returns for any other reason will be charged a restocking fee, in accordance with Ruby Lane's policies. Note that a substantive flaw does not include minor nits & picks in fabric, soil easily removed through washing or dry cleaning, normal signs of wear, typical utensil marks in porcelain & glassware, etc.

We respond to all inquiries, and in a timely fashion! We treat you the way we wish to be treated when we purchase goods. And this is not a hollow promise.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Shipping costs vary; see item listing. Shipping insurance optional on most items, mandatory for some as noted. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance and do offer it on all shipments. The USPS does not offer insurance for International Airmail First Class, but we optionally insure those packages through a 3rd-party provider, at additional cost. However, insurance via this method is not available to all countries--please contact us BEFORE ordering if you wish your international package insured. You may choose USPS international shipping methods that do offer indemnity.

If you choose not to purchase insurance, we are not responsible in any way for shipping damage or loss.

Restocking Fee:
Restocking fee of 15 to 20 percent charged for any item returned for other than undiscovered/undisclosed significant flaws or other misrepresentation. Please be aware that we take multiple photos of our items, including additional views not shown in our listings. So we strictly adhere to our, and Ruby Lane's, policy that items must be returned in the order in which they were shipped in order to be eligible for refund.

Payment for all purchases is due within 5 days of our invoice date. Please contact us if you need to make other arrangements.

Quoted shipping does NOT include insurance, unless otherwise stated! Insurance is offered optionally on all items, and is mandatory when specified. We wrap & pack very well, but are not responsible for any shipping loss or damage on uninsured parcels. Thank you.
