Vintage Hollywood Vassarette Powder Blue Slip, Chiffon & Lace Cups, 34 Short

What a darling slip! This is a "Hollywood" Vassarette by Munsingwear, circa early to mid 60s. Delicate powder blue in color, with semi-sheer nylon chiffon & lace cups, and so silky in 100% Antron Nylon. Size 34 short, so can be worn by the petite of height or as a mini slip by taller women. Curved seaming under bodice and around back, plus center back seam enhances your curves. The Chantilly lace at the bodice and hem is really beautiful.... They just really "don't make 'em like this anymore!"

Excellent condition--it's clean, with no stains, and I can see no breaks in the lace. Has some minor picking; were it not for this, I'd have priced this higher (just saw one exactly like it in a different color on another site for $52!).

Length: 26 1/2" from underarm at seam to bottom of hem

* Approx. measurements, taken flat & unstretched on garment front, then doubled for dimensions “around.” I don't stretch garments out when I measure them, so these are minimum dimensions.

I inspect my clothing carefully, and will note flaws I see. Most items have been laundered, if washable. I tie off and snip the worst of any loose threads, and will take a stitch or two to stop a seam from unraveling or a button from falling off (I’m an accomplished seamstress, so not to worry!). We are a non-smoking home.

Vintage clothing is not normally in like-new condition! However, I don’t sell anything I wouldn’t wear myself. And I am fairly conservative in my assessment of condition.
