Vintage Stetson Sovereign Brown Plush Felt Snap-Brim Fedora, 7 1/4

This is another from our small stock of men's hats. From Stetson's famous "Sovereign" line, a great everyday hat for the upcoming winter weather. Made of long-napped, plush fur felt in dark chocolate brown. Features braided-cord hatband in brown and gold, gold feather, and Stetson metallic emblem on the band. Stingy (1 5/8") snap brim with welt edge. Neatly creased and pinched crown. Interior lined with rayon satin, has protective plastic at crown. Leather sweatband with initials "HE" imprinted. A popular size at 7 1/4.

Overall excellent condition. Would be near mint but for two issues: its price tag was taped to the sweatband, and some of the leather pulled up along with the tag. I've repaired this, and it's sound. (Invisible, of course, when hat is on.) The other issue is that there are two large-ish nicks in the felt. One is on the crown, just above the hatband (shown in photo). Less than 1/8" dia., fairly shallow, barely noticeable. Most people won't see it. The other, on the underside of the brim, is about 3/16" in dia., is at the inner edge of the brim, not visible when hat is being worn. You're getting a great price on this because of these!
