REDUCED Vintage Plastic Summer Fruit Salad Style Blue & Green Demi Parure, Necklace & Earrings

Here's a most adorable & fun set for year-round wear! While not literally consisting of "fruit," this is in the style of the fruit-salad design and color (the original F.S. pieces featured multi shades of green & blue), with plastic beads of different shapes. I'll point out one unusual feature: the barrel-shaped beads are made up of 3 pieces--a center round faceted bead with goldtone filigree end caps encased on either end by a 2-piece, "broken-eggshell" type bead. The clusters are made of clear & opaque beads and have two-tiered goldtone end caps. Spacer beads appear to be glass. The abundance of goldtone findings on this necklace makes it sparkle and gives it some additional pizazz! Slide-spring clasp is topped with a deep blue half-round plastic cabochon. Necklace is about 20.5" long; clusters measure 1 1/8" x 3/4"; oblong beads about 7/8" x 1/2". Excellent condition.

Earrings are of plastic faceted beads in colors to match the necklace. Measure approx. 1" dia. Good condition, with some wear to the edges and points of the beads and some tarnishing and wear to the backs.

This was sold to me at an estate sale as a set, but the necklace is marked "Hong Kong," and the earrings are marked "Germany," so I don't know that they came together originally. However, the colors match and the faceted beads of the earrings match the small round faceted beads at each end of the necklace. So, I'd say they are now a pair!
