This is a gorgeous 1970's Southern Belle-style gown by Dance Allure, Div. of Alfred Angelo. It's the essence of gracious elegance, and would make a beautiful summer wedding gown. Also suitable for Civil-War reenactors or prom, homecoming, debutante ball gown, This organza-over-taffeta gown offers wide, double lace ruffle at the neckline, which can be worn at the shoulder point, or off the shoulder; flattering "V" waistline; and full skirt with swags and bows (shown over full crinoline, not included). Organza shell is a very light pink, while the taffeta lining is deeper pink. A very special gown that'll make its wearer feel very special.
Size: Not labeled, but fits my size XS manni perfectly. Measurements below (remember, these are garment measurements; leave room for your body in it!). There is little to no stretch in this fabric.
* Bust: 34"
* Natural Waist: 24 1/2"
* Dropped Waist at Seam: 25"
Hips: Full
Length: 51 1/2", measured down side seam from underarm
* taken flat on front and doubled. Note: I flatten garments out as much as possible, but do not stretch them (unless stated otherwise). Please take your own measurements and those of a dress you already own that fits you as you wish this one to.
Fabric: Not labeled. Organza layer is probably polyester, lining feels like acetate (it's a substantial, crisp lining, not thin acetate).
Condition: Excellent, probably only worn once. Has some minor (less than usually found) soiling at the hem bottom. Skirt was spot cleaned. I would wear this myself without having it dry cleaned, but you may want to do so. After being boxed for shipping, it will want a thorough steaming so any wrinkles fall out.
