Being offered is an extraordinary figural brooch by the prominent fashion & jewelry designer HATTIE CARNEGIE. Her legacy continues on with fabulous, true to life figural elephant head brooch which is accented with clear chaton pave set rhinestones and enameled tusks. There is a green glass cabochon as an eye and a ruby red glass cabochon in the middle of the forehead. There is a little bit of enamel loss along the edges of the back tusk, and on the tips of the tusks, but other than that this brooch is in fine condition, all rhinestones are in tact and remain shiny, the closing "c" clasp is in good tight working order and the gold tone metal has no signs of dulling or wear. The brooch has the Hattie Carnegie signature in an oval cartouche beside a copyright "c". The brooch measures approximately 2 1/4" in width by 2" tall and has a 3/4" depth, very dimensional and very detailed in design. You will be amazed at the beauty of this piece in person, it is truly spectacular!
