A simply stunning presentation of a French timbale, beautifully boxed and inscribed with the name “Claire”. The late 19th. Century sterling cup with vermeil interior is marked for master silversmith, Eugène Lefebvre, 23 rue Chapon, Paris. His successor was Copin.
A simply stunning gift for someone named Claire!
It is also marked for .950 sterling denoted by the Minerve #1 Titre Mark. The timbale/ beaker/cup along with the presentation box is in very good antique condition with minor dings on the timbale near the base. The gilt interior is in excellent condition.
