A Pair of Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses made by Lemaire with full Mother of Pearl Barrels. The Mother of Pearl has a tawny hint which picks up the aged brass trim beautifully. Dating to the late 1800's-early 1900's.

In very good condition; the lens are clear. The pair telescopes easily; extending from a closed position of 2 1/2 inches to 3 inches. Minor loss of black trim around lens (please view pictures). In the pictures you will notice a lighter area of brass; the pair were given a light cleaning to reveal the owner's name. I have chosen to leave the pair as they are with the aged patina; however, this small spot reveals how the brass could look with a good polish.
