A sweet pair of a Hummel vinyl boy and girl doll by Goebel. They have sculpted hair, molded and painted faces with open mouths. . She has on her original dress, kerchief, one piece undies, socks and flowers. . She has on her original dress, kerchief, one piece undies, socks . She is carrying a basket and flowers in the other hand. The hand is cupped to hold the flowers. He is in his original pants vest and shirt. He is carrying a satchel and an umbrella. He is wearing a hat. They both have felt slippers. The clothes have a cloth tag inside which states, MJ HUMMEL GERMANY. All clothing is original.. They both have the Goebel tag, that states Aus Demhause Goebel.They are about 12 inches tall, also jointed at the neck, shoulders & hips. The dolls are in very good condition, but could use a cleaning , from being in storage. There are a couple of minor marks, one on the arm and one on the leg. I did not try to remove them. I'm sure they would wipe off. I would date this to circa 1960s. Selling on the internet since 1997.
