Antique Collectable Chenille Popcorn Hand Crocheted Bed Spread with Pillow Cover

Each block of this bedspread starts out with an eight spoke pinwheel, and then is enlarged with an octagon filled with popcorn stitches which is then joined with a spider crochet filler. The information I was able to gather from the estate sale indicates that this bedspread is from the 1930’ to 1940s. This item is 15- 5" wheels by 15- 5" wheel or 80" x 80," and the pillow cover is 22" x 80." This spread could be re-blocked and made larger if the buyer chose to do so

The workmanship on this piece is superb. There is no visible wear or aging. It is in near new condition.
