This gorgeous dish is by Bryce, Higbee & Co. pattern name Surprise from the year 1896.. All pieces in this pattern are considered rare by Higby's Book... This does have a sliver chip(about 1/2 in) on the edge which is very hard to see but you can feel it.. This damage for it's age and rarity is isn't bad at all.. Just a wonderful piece of glass.. It's 7 7/8 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches at it's tallest.. I believe this is called a pickle dish.. Some of my Early American ...

This very unique and unusual EAPG piece was done by the Bryce, Higbee in 1890 and is called Paneled Diamond Point.. The compote measures 6 3/4 inch at it's tallest, 9 inches at it's widest with a 4 1/2 inch foot..
