This is another wonderful vintage Porcelier teapot measuring 8" in width from tip of the pouring spout to the end of the handle and is 6.5" in height.

Although there is no year date noted on the bottom of the teapot, we did find out that the Porcelier Company was in business during the 1920's through the mid 1950's.

The teapot has an ivory background with a raised stonework appearance. The front of the teapot has a raised pioneer scene of life long ago. The hearth was the center of the home then. At night most everything was done by the fireside light. Lovely pink plates and green bells sit upon the mantle. The spinning wheel waits for the mistress of the home. The bottom has a raised lip effect that adds to the cottage charm of this piece.

This teapot is in absolutely perfect condition with no chip, cracks, anything at all noted upon my inspection. The lid has a small manufacturing spot, at a seam, that is on the inside of the teapot when closed, simply a rough spot. Lid fits nice and snug. No Chips anywhere. Not even on the tip. Gorgeous!

Colors, soft white body with warm yellows and browns, while a blue braided rug lies in from of the rust colored firedogs, pinks and greens on top of the mantle. Truly, quite an inviting vessel to relax with! Make yourself a pot of tea and remember our past. Then be extra glad that we DON'T have to use that SPINNING WHEEL to make our clothing!

What a wonderful vintage piece to use to hold flowers in! If this coffee or tea pot could only talk and tell of the conversations that it has heard over the years! Well, I guarantee that we would ALL be amazed.

The Porcelier Company started in East Liverpool, Ohio, in the 1920s. It moved to South Greensburg, PA, in the 1930s and went out of business in the 1950s.
