Featured for your enjoyment is a stunning old Bread & Butter plate. This is from Wedgwood with blue and pink floral [transfer] in an open weave basket, in the design in the center and the Wellesley shape. This is a stunning Wedgwood plate with embossed fruit pattern around the rim. The very outer rim, which has been hand painted, has a circular embossed pattern that has a delightful blue outlining the circle and small green fleur-de-lis adorning the rim. Made in England is impressed into the plate. The back of the plate is stamped: WELLESLEY WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND USA PATENT D. 93217. There is AMH 9546 J that has been painted on by hand beneath the stamped area.
