Drinking tea is a special time. Unlike coffee, where things are rushed at a breakneck speed, drinking tea is a time of introspection, and meditation. It is personal, spiritual and ceremonial. Why not get yourself relaxed with a cup of tea yourself and stay awhile?

This is a beautiful Myott Ironstone Tea Set called “The Hunter”. The scene is of a hunter and his dog. Each item has a different hunting scene.

Very nice. Great Gift Giving condition! This wonderful set dates from 1982.

The styling is very traditional. To the top of the lid finial it stands 7 inches tall. The main body of the teapot measures 5.25 inches. Filled to the brim (higher than you would ever actually use) it holds 5 cups plus a little more. The lid has a steam vent, but there is no grille covering the base of the spout. The Myott back stamp on the bottom provides the pattern name and states that it is Hand Engraved and has Permanent Colours. The number 14 is stamped on the bottom. The condition is excellent.
