What a cheerful rectangular dish tray this is! This tray dish shouts SPRING with clusters of dainty violets adorning it!

The bottom is stamped Wm Guerin & Co. Limoges France. Violet clusters print with gold colored accents. GUERIN-POUYAT-ELITE - WILLIAM GUERIN & Cie (Limoges, France) - ca 1901 - 1932

A little history on Wm Guerin I found online while researching:

Wm. Guerin was born near Limoges, France. He served in the military unit about 1836 when he rented a porcelain decorating workshop in the Faubourg Montjovis an proceeded to set up an export business. He stayed in business until 1932.

"The high quality, refined porcelain, is fired and re-fired while increasing the temperature higher & higher, which make Limoges porcelain translucent (able to allow light to pass through), and its much lighter weight than other porcelain or pottery which also contributed to the popularity of Limoges porcelain."

Great condition with no chips or cracks. All in all a very nice and affordable piece of Limoges!

This will look great on a vanity to hold your watches and rings or equally nice on a foyer table holding potpourri!
