Vintage Large Ovoid German Prince of Wales Clear Glass Tankard Stein with Pewter Lid with Tile Insert Original Haku Bierseidel

What a lot of liquid this mug can hold! 2 cups or 32 fluid ounces to the top! It is heavy and the glass is done in a thumb print design. Measures 5.5 inches tall.

On the bottom it is marked with Original Haku Bierseidel. The pewter lid is hinged on the handle and has a colorful transfer print on a tile insert of three gentlemen outside milling around a sign that says Price of Wales, at a thatch covered house they are at.

The bottom is marked with “Original Haku Bierseidel.” It is about 6 ¼” high including finial on lid and 3 ½” diameter. This stein is in excellent vintage condition without damage; the painted scene is superb and the pewter wears a beautiful glowing patina.
