Rare Antique Sterling Deep Dish Plate or Shallow Bowl

This is a beautiful and rare antique sterling deep dish plate. This round dish has a nice repousse decoration all along its edge, a lovely single flower repeated. This is a rather deep dish of excellent quality. It measures over 10 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inch deep. The center of this wonderful deep dish plate could be engraved with your monogram if you wish. This beautiful bowl is in excellent condition given its age and the fact of being used for so long. It has no dings, breaks or repairs and it could use some additional cleaning, but we will leave that to the new owner.

This beautiful antique sterling silver bowl weighs 267.4 grams or 98.6 troy oz.

It is marked on the bottom "Sterling; 9595; 10" and has a sword surrounded by two olive branches, the maker's mark. We believe this bowl is from the late 1800s or early 1900 judging from other items obtained in the same estate auction that this was purchase at.
