How cheerful this wonderful Coffee Set is! Teal blue accents the crisp white background on this vintage coffee or tea set. The geometric pattern is reminiscent of Jesse Tait Designs back in the 60's! I am not sure who was the designer for Johnson Bros. then, but I seem to remember her woking for them then..........please correct me if I am wrong! I am sure someone out there knows who designed this for them. The color is so pretty; goes great towards the blue side and the green side...Stands out great!
With this entire set comes:
1-8 inch tall tea or coffee pot with lid,[ 9.5 inches with the lid on, sitting on a base diameter of about 4 inches], 1-open sugar bowl, 1-creamer, 6-cups, & 6-saucers.
These are well loved and comes to you with lots of all over crazing. There is also one cup that has been broken in the past that has been glued back together for the sake of being able to display a set of 6 for displaying. Please see all pictures.
There are no cracks or chips on this rest of the set other than the cup that I mentioned.
Very dramatic as a display / cabinet set.
