Exotic skin handbags have been popular from the turn of the 20th century up until the present day.
From Art Deco 1920s to 1930s handbags which have fantastic geometric shapes to the 1940s where exotic skins were used because of leather being used for the war. Many of these skin bags came from South America and are known for their fantastic designs.
In the 1950s and 1960s women wanted elegance and style and many top designer fashion houses made there handbags from beautiful Exotic skins and have carried on to this very day
