A large paper mache egg featuring a background of vibrant red and depicting Easter characters. We not only chicks and bunnies, but country folk dressed in period garb walking along together and sitting next to their umbrella and cart selling eggs. We have a rabbit helping to push a cart of colored eggs and baby chicks trying to stay out of the way of all the pedestrians. The rims on both halves show a nice outer banding. A happy antique Victorian valentine in an accordion cut-out design. This particular greeting features a cupid and dutch girl on either side with the charming valentine wording tucked at the bottom. The shape allows it to stand up and be noticed. Still very vibrant peach coloring and although a bit wrinkled from age; we feel this is in wonderful condition. Just a bit of light fluffing should bring it back to life. Measures 11" high.
