This is in overall excellent condition with just minor wear near the bottom due to its proximity to the interior rim of the frame. This is an outstanding example of a Victorian flue cover. These were made to hide the stove pipe during the summer months when the stove was put outside because of the heat. Showing a lovely woman's portrait on paper with gold around the rim. It sits in a decorative metal frame with a chain attached for hanging. It looks to us that someone was good enough to replace the backing on it to preserve the portrait inside. This measures 8" in diameter and is most charming.

A porcelain ewer featuring a very fancy shell mold design and a pretty pearlized glaze. The portrait area is smooth and shows a lovely dark haired woman surrounded by a thin line of gold. The hallmark is from the Victoria Porcelain Factory with Czech-slovakia under the name. This dates the vase from 1918-1920. This miniature measures 4.5" tall x 2.5" wide and is in wonderful vintage condition.

A primitive wooden butter bowl with matching paddle which was used after the butter was churned. The butter was put in the bowl and the paddle was used to work the rest of the buttermilk out before putting into crocks. This set has a beautiful patina and wood is smooth to the touch without damage. Notice the handle on the paddle has a notched area at the top to hook to the rim of the bowl. A lovely item that measures 15" in diameter with paddle measuring 9" long.
