A oak splint gathering basket; most likely for a kitchen herb garden, that has original mint green painting on it. The handle is grape vines woven together and was used for the center base of the basket. You can see how the basket was woven outwards from the handle and has a beautiful geometric pattern at both sides. There is some rough areas of the basket but no significant holes or breakage. The original paint shows some wear but all in all, we think this is a wonderful vintage condition. What ...
