A fabulous, hand made petticoat or slip made to wear under a full skirt or dress. The main fabric is cotton with strips of tatting and lace at the bottom. There is a liner that also has lace at the edge. The waist band is unforgiving; triple stitched cotton with a double hook and eye closure. The original owner's name is written just under the hook and reads "Ethel McAdams". As best we could measure the waist band is 26" and the length is 31" to bottom of lace hem. Getting married?
