An antique silver plate pedestal bowl featuring a repousse floral design and scalloped rim. Laurel decorates the pedestal rim and upwards onto the bowl itself. Hallmarked by Rogers Bros. on the bottom which tell us that this is c. 1853-1861. This particular hallmark was only used during this time frame. A silver plate tea set featuring a primrose design. The pot flares up at the top and slims towards the base. The sugar and creamer have matching primrose borders on the bases and lid of sugar. The pot is more decorative with the primrose design showing on handle and spout as well. The lid on the pot is hinged and does not quite sit flat on the rim.
