A silver plate rectangle stand featuring a hinged handle with beautiful scroll decoration at the center grip area. The rim has a repousse floral design (very Victorian) and this stands on four cabriole legs also decorated with flowers. Manufactured by Forbes Silver Plate Co. in Meridian, CT. Forbes was a department of Meridian Silver Co., one of the original International Silver Companies started in 1898. The basket measures 10" high to top of handle.
