A porcelain child's cereal or oatmeal bowl that features different portraits of happifats children with toys around the rim and a little boy blowing a horn and pulling a toy train in the center. The mark on this tells us that this was manufactured in 1918 and is German. Measuring 8" diameter at the widest point we find some wear to the transfers but this is age related. This fine porcelain box has ormolu brass mounts that frame both bottom and top. The outside of the lid portrays a carriage and pair with a driver and two passengers. The portrait is framed in a fine line of gold with just a touch showing wear. The inside of the lid holds a mirror.
