Just a fabulous antique glass lemonade pitcher that features an angled ruffled rim and hand painted design. We find swirls of white enameling along with a dotted pattern which highlights the amethyst colored flowers. You'll see the center of the pitcher has an amethyst band. The handle is applied meaning this was blown separately and then applied to the pitcher while the glass was still hot. The top angles up to the spout and the base flairs out. An antique set of six hand blown cordial glasses featuring stately pedestal bases. Inclusions to the glass such as tiny bubbles indicate early manufacture. Heavier than crystal, but dainty nonetheless. Our petite glasses measure 3.75" high, mouth opening is 1.5" diameter. We have one pictured next to a cut glass toothpick to give you a sense of their size. One has a minuscule bite out of rim which could easily smoothed with a diamond file. An early cut glass sherbet set that features a trumpet flower motif. These are delicate glass blanks. We are unsure of the maker. The cutting on these is just fabulous! Measuring 3.25" high the pair is without damage and just a few light scratches to the glass. Please reference our photos for more detail.
